Callao Ruritan Club Pull - April 2016

After we were rained out on Saturday those pullers arriving on Sunday, despite the cold temperatures and windy conditions, were as surprised as the members of the Club to discover there was no electricity at the park.   A generator was quickly set up to run the scales and public address system and the pull proceeded as scheduled.  With a gas supplied grill, plenty of sunlight coming into the kitchen and an adequate amount of ice, workers were able to supply the crowd with food and drinks.  The pull was well underway when Dominion Virginia Power restored their service early in the afternoon.
