Comments:Hyde County Mini Pullers are putting on our annual pull at the Bob Martin Center in Williamston, NC on Feb. 9. Starting pulling at 10am. It's the 2013 Spring National Mower Pull. Hook fees are 25.00 and there will be payouts for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. There must be 5 mowers to make a class. Adults are 5.00 to get in and children under 12 are free. Here are the list of classes that will be pulling. Stock classes are 10hp,12hp,16hp. Stand offs, Velocity stacks, Chervon tires NOT ALLOWED in stock classes. These are allowed in all other classes. Sport stock classes are 20hp,25hp,10hp,40ci,16hp,12hp 16hp limited, Stock Altered (NQS),48CI altered Twins, Pro Stock 50.5 (NQS), Super Stock (NQS), 70ci Open Super stock Motorcycle classs are 800cc,1200cc modified, 1600cc modified, 800cc modified. Also unfortunate that the entire purpose has been lost...you ALLOWED it to happen. There is no going back to pretend like it did not occur, and I remain dumbfound that you simply can not state you all were in error. Are you not capable of simply stating your club is at least aware of the mistake and will not let this occur again? Comments:Well, we showed up to pull in the 5000lb tractor class only after waiting all day to find out that there were too many lawn mowers pulling to get to our class. tractors and lawn mowers should not be pulled on the same day. the lawn mower pullers who bring 3-5 mowers and pull in every class with multiple drivers takes way too long. I was able to get my hook fee back but doubt I will be back to this event if mowers and tractors pull on the same day. there needs to be some restrictions on the lawn mowers. reunion of the past pulls lawn mowers on friday night and tractors on saturday at the james city fair. I spent 50 dollars in fuel to sit around all day. at least there was an auction to kill some time. thanks for you consideration. could not find a HHEC web site to comment too.
